When I painted this, it was a hot, clear and sunny day drawing to an end. It was one of those days when the sunsets seem to last forever. I put on pink tinted sunglasses and saw a circular reflection of the sun through the sunglasses on top of this sunset. I tried to capture this beautiful moment in my painting.
