Round Valley, 18 x 14, oil on canvas

I hiked this area and was very impressed by the pastoral feel it has. It is quite a remote area tucked away from cities. There are sheep grazing which adds to the pastoral feel. I saw several coyotes curious about the hikers. The land is steep in areas and forms rolling hills around a valley. There are groves of oak trees scattered on the hills. It is very quiet here.
I have decided this is one of my favorite hiking and painting places.
